This is a fully remote, flexible-hours role where you will test apps on your own iOS or Android devices, write concise reviews, and enter your observations, bugs, and usability notes into templates or forms.
What you’ll do
- Download assigned apps to your smartphone or tablet and walk through core features, onboarding, and settings while recording observations.
- Enter findings into checklists, spreadsheets, or web forms, including steps to reproduce issues, device/OS details, screenshots, and timestamps.
- Write a short, plain-English review summarizing user experience, performance, and any faults discovered.
- Tag and categorize defects, feature requests, and usability notes to help teams prioritize fixes and enhancements.
- Follow test scripts when provided, or perform exploratory testing when scripts are not available.
- Submit accurate, on-time reports that meet formatting and detail requirements.
Requirements
- Access to at least one device: iPhone, iPad, Android smartphone, or Android tablet.
- Reliable internet connection and the ability to install and use mobile apps.
- Strong attention to detail with accurate typing and data entry skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow step-by-step instructions.
- Availability of 5+ hours per week; flexible scheduling.
Rate and hours
- Rate: $35 per hour depending on app complexity and review/detail requirements.
- Part-time with flexible hours; remote-first with preference for United States candidates.
