Entry Level Live Chat Representative (Remote)

Are you a natural communicator who loves crafting thoughtful, engaging messages that make people feel understood? As a Live Chat Representative, you’ll be the voice behind the screen—turning everyday inquiries into meaningful conversations that reflect warmth, clarity, and creativity.

You’ll help customers navigate products, services, or support questions while maintaining a friendly, consistent tone that reinforces the brand’s personality. Every response you write will shape how customers perceive the brand, making this role as much about storytelling as it is about service.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Respond to customer messages in real time via live chat and social platforms.
  • Deliver clear, empathetic, and engaging written communication.
  • Help users troubleshoot issues and make informed decisions.
  • Follow chat guidelines while maintaining an authentic and friendly tone.
  • Collaborate with internal teams by sharing feedback and customer insights.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written English and attention to detail.
  • Access to a reliable device (phone, tablet, or laptop) with a stable internet connection.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple chats efficiently.
  • Comfortable following clear procedures and adapting to different communication styles.
  • Availability for 10+ hours per week.
  • Interest in digital media, writing, or customer engagement preferred.

Rate: $35 per hour.

Hours per week: 10+ hours.

Contract length: No fixed term.

Location: Remote (United States preferred).
